Hampton Avenue Reunites For "Sing!"Toronto Vocal Arts Festival
Start: May 12, 2013 5:00 pm
End: May 12, 2013 5:30 pm
Lakeside Terrace, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Award winning vocal group, Hampton Avenue is reuniting to sing at this magnificent
Sing Vocal Arts Festival at Harbourfront, Toronto.
The 8 voice jazz vocal ensemble
disbanded in 2002, and since then – one of our cherished singers
passed on to add her voice and wonderful spirit to God’s heavenly
choir. Stephanie Taylor will be sadly missed, as will baritone Tim Olfert, who moved to the west coast.
Meanwhile, we have 6 voices assembled for this exciting concert – Debbie Fleming, Judy Tate, Suba Sankaran, Dylan Bell, Larry Folk and Tom Lillington. We’ll sing some of Debbie’s songs and arrangements, as well as some Gene Puerling and Take 6.
The weekend, beginning on Thursday
May 9th, will be a wonderful taste of vocal groups – both local
and international. Highlights will be The Real Group and Swingles Singers.
Check out the Sing Toronto website listed above.
Some events, like our concert, are free of charge.
